Search queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. We do not retain or log those search terms on our own systems.
Messages
Contact emails or messages may be retained to respond. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Information
When a page loads, service providers may collect technical details such as an IP address, browser and version, device type and operating system, pages viewed, time on a page, referring page, and timestamps. Cookies help measure use and maintain site functions. Browser settings can block cookies, although some features may then behave differently.
How Data Is Used

Outside Services and Recipients
Links lead to sheriff, jail, court, corrections, federal locator, and third-party sites with their own privacy practices. Advertising partners may measure activity across sites on their own systems. Personal information is not sold, but it may be handled by search partners, analytics services, advertising networks, or law-enforcement and government bodies when a valid legal order requires it.
Security and Age Limits
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet-connected system can guarantee complete security. The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor has submitted information so it can be addressed.
Your Choices
You may ask for a copy of personal data held from a direct message, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where appropriate, or an opt-out from certain processing. This notice may change. A revised version takes effect when posted here.
